-WWE Open.

-Teddy Long was in the ring, alone, as the show opened. He said Mr. McMahon put him in charge tonight since Vickie Guerrero was injured at the Royal Rumble. A video package aired showing highlights of the Rey vs. Edge match. Teddy said at No Way Out, there will be a new #1 contender: The winner of an Elimination Chamber match. Two on one show? That may be overkill. The participants: Batista, Great Khali, Finlay, Undertaker, MVP, Big Daddy V. Conspicuous by his absence: C.M Punk. The winner will face the champ at WrestleMania, while Rey will get a re-match with Edge at No Way Out. Edge ran down to the ring and grabbed a mic. Edge said he’d rather fight Khali or V than Rey. Teddy wasn’t having that suggestion, so Edge was left to make annoyed faces.

[Commercial Break]

1- RIC FLAIR vs. MVP, CAREER THREATENING MATCH

I’m going to guess Mr. Kennedy interferes to cost MVP the match, as HE wants to be the one to cost Flair his career. Hip-toss by Naitch, who did some strutting. Roll-up by MVP for two. Flair nailed some chops in the corner, but got back-dropped out of the corner. MVP hit a running kick for two. MVP worked the left arm of Flair, then got a backslide for a near-fall. Double-underhook suplex for two. Boy, Flair’s not even disguising himself as he calls the match. Big kick missed by MVP and Flair took out the leg. MVP countered the figure-four, but once Flair got under the ropes, MVP wouldn’t let go at referee Mickie Henson’s five-count, drawing the DQ.

WINNER: Flair, at 6:16. Decent match, but Flair looks a half-step behind now, and has for some time.

-MVP wrapped Flair’s leg around the ringpost and battered him after the match. He stuck Flair’s leg between the ring steps and the apron, the kicked the steps into his leg. After replays of that, Flair limped to the back with the assistance of the trainers.

[Commercial Break]

-Jonathon Coachman previewed the Raw Chamber match.

-Flair was getting worked on by the trainers backstage.

-Chuck Palumbo came out to the ring to speak. He said Jamie Noble stuck his nose where it didn’t belong and said it felt fantastic beating him up last week. He said what happened to Michelle was an accident. Cole said she suffered whiplash and a concussion. Palumbo said this stuff was all Noble’s fault and said he was fined $10,000 by WWE for hitting a ref. I like that, and they should emphasize that more often. They used to mention it back in the early 90s, but got away from it. It shows that there is consequence for hitting an official, as there should be. Chuck implored Michelle to come to the ring, as he wanted to apologize. She finally did. Chuck apologized but Michelle didn’t believe him. She slapped him and Chuck ran at her, but stopped short of laying a hand on her. Chuck then showed his true colors, blaming her for everything that has happened. He said Noble would pay for Michelle slapping him. I’m surprised WWE gave Chuck this much mic time. He was just okay, though.

[Commercial Break]

2- REY MYSTERIO & CM PUNK vs. CHAVO GUERRERO & EDGE

Punk came to the ring wearing a Mysterio t-shirt. After some back-and-forth action, Punk missed a knee charge in the corner, and flew over the top and to the outside. They then cut to break.

[Commercial Break]

Edge had Punk on the mat in a bear-hug upon return. Punk came back with an enziguiri on Chavo. Both men made tags and Rey came in and cleaned house. Springboard moonsault got two. Rey went to springboard off the apron, but Edge dropkicked him out. Chavo came in and worked Rey’s knee. The heels kept Rey in their half of the ring. Rey came back, taking on both heels. He finally tagged Punk, who was a house of fire. Springboard cross-body from Punk on Chavo for two. Very sloppy finishing sequence saw Punk avoid a spear by jumping in the air, but didn’t land on his feet. Then Edge had to stand and stare at Rey, waiting for Mysterio to springboard in and hit him with a hurricanrana to set up for the 619. Both heels were set up for it but Edge moved- after Rey nailed Chavo with it, he jumped onto Edge on the outside. Punk hit the Go To Sleep on Chavo for the win.

WINNERS: Punk and Rey at 11:09.

-Still to come, Big Daddy V & Mark Henry face the Brothers of Destruction, Kane & Undertaker.

[Commercial Break]

-Backstage, Finlay and Mr. McMahon were talking. Vince was not happy with what Finlay did at the Rumble and said there is no such thing as loyalty.

2- FINLAY & HORNSWOGGLE vs. DEUCE ‘N DOMINO

The deconstruction of the former tag champs continues. Now they’re saying Finlay was DQ’d from the Rumble for entering before it was his time. After some brief offense, Finlay went outside to yell at Cherry for trying to trip him up. Hornswoggle came from behind and lifted up her skirt, then got on his hands and knees as she fell backward over him. Finlay took out both greasers and hit the Celtic Cross on Domino, then Hornswoggle got the pin with the Tadpole Splash.

WINNERS: Finlay & Hornswoggle at 1:49.

The winners danced in the ring after the match.

[Commercial Break]

-The Raw Rebound aired.

-The 2007 Diva Search winner, Eve Torres, was in the ring, and she introduced Batista. I miss Anastacia Rose. Eve asked Batista his thoughts on the Chamber match. Batista first welcomed Eve to the #1 sports-entertainment show, and punctuated his proclamation with, “that’s right, I said it.” Batista said he didn’t do as well as he thought he would in the Rumble, then he put over Cena and Triple H. Batista said he would walk out of No Way Out and walk into WrestleMania to re-claim his title. Your standard short Batista interview.

[Commercial Break]

-In a pre-taped vignette, Jesse said that Festus has been cured and next week, Jesse & Festus would be back, better than ever.

4- CURT HAWKINS & ZACK RYDER vs. SHANNON MOORE & JIMMY WANG YANG

Yang was snap-mared, but landed on his feet. He got some offense in and tagged Moore. A blind tag was made and Yang was clotheslined hard from behind. Hawkins & Ryder slowed the pace down by keeping Yang grounded. Ryder went for a cross-body off the top, but I think he thought Yang was going to do something as he seemed to land on his feet and just fall into Yang. A few moves later, he went for the same thing, but this time, Yang caught him in an atomic drop. I think that’s what he thought the first time around. Moore came in and missed a corkscrew moonsault. Hawkins finished things with a version of Goldust’s Curtain Call.

WINNERS: Hawkins & Ryder at 6:25.

-Kane & Undertaker vs. Henry & V is coming up next!

[Commercial Break]

-All four wrestlers in the main event were introduced….the match starts after the break.

[Commercial Break]

5- KANE & UNDERTAKER VS. MARK HENRY & BIG DADDY V

Match was joined in progress with Kane and Henry as the legal men. Kane came off the ropes and jumped onto Henry, who fell backward. Not sure if Henry was supposed to catch him or not, but it was ugly. Taker tagged in and Cole wasted no time getting out his “best pure striker in sports-entertainment history” line. Taker gave Henry a running boot to the face. Kane came back in and he got splashed in the corner. Big Daddy V came in for the first time and fought off Kane’s uppercuts. Kane fought back himself and tagged Taker. After a few minutes of action, Kane regained the advantage and hit a clothesline off the top onto Henry. A distraction by Matt Striker led to Henry taking over on offense. On the outside, V slammed Kane’s head off the announce table, and Henry did the same. V squashed Kane with a running splash in the corner. Henry then put The Big Red Machine in a bear-hug. Kane came back with a middle-rope clothesline on Henry and a tag to the Dead Man. Taker laid the wood to Henry and hit Old School and a DDT. V broke up the pin attempt though, and was given a double chokeslam for his troubles. Henry was chokeslammed as well and Taker locked in that mysterious finisher that felled V last week. Henry tapped and began coughing up blood. It kind of looks like a choke-hold, actually.

WINNERS: Undertaker & Kane, 10:42 shown.

-Replays were shown and the brothers stood victorious in the ring as the show ended.
Source: PWTorch.com

-Smackdown Open

-Fireworks kicked off the final Smackdown before No Way Out, sold out at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

1- BATISTA vs. MVP

The first few minutes were a feeling out process. As Batista got the advantage, MVP went to the outside. Lots of power displayed by The Animal early on. Batista rolled out of the ring to avoid a kick to the head by MVP. Batista began to work on the left knee, then applied the figure four. Porter got to the ropes and went to re-group.

[Commercial Break]

MVP was working on Batista’s shoulder out of break. Montel hit a running kick to Batista’s head, but only got two on a pin attempt. MVP threw Batista to the outside and whipped him into the steel steps. Batista turned the tide on the outside, slamming MVP back-first into the apron. He then hit a shoulderblock off the top rope back inside the ring. The match began to heat up and MVP got a near-fall with a roll-up holding the tights. Spear by Batista. He tossed MVP shoulder-first into the post twice, then hit the Batista Bomb for the three count.

WINNER: Batista at 16:12. Slow, but a good effort from both guys. Surprised about the clean finish, though.

-Backstage, Edge looked stressed. The EdgeHeads came in and wanted advice about their “big” match tonight, but the champ needed some alone time.

[Commercial Break]

2- CURT HAWKINS & ZACK RYDER & DEUCE ‘N DOMINO vs. JIMMY WANG YANG & SHANNON MOORE & JESSE & FESTUS

Festus and Jesse worked over Ryder to start. Hawkins suckered Moore with a distraction, allowing the heels to take over. Moore fought off both greasers to make a tag. Things broke down and Moore and Jesse hit stereo planchas as Yang pinned Domino with a moonsault.

WINNERS: Yang, Moore, Jesse and Festus at 2:52.

After the match, the heels went on the attack. Festus just stood on the apron, as the bell rang to end the match, putting him back in his comatose-like state. Jesse crawled over to ring the bell and he cleaned house.

-Vickie was getting makeup applied backstage, getting ready for her “perfect” night.

[Commercial Break]

3- MICHELLE MCCOOL vs. VICTORIA

Victoria looks good with her short haircut. Before the match began, Chuck Palumbo rode his hog to the ring. Victoria choked Michelle in the corner as Chuck continued to rev his bike throughout the match. Superplex by Michelle was blocked and the two slugged it out on top. They ended up tumbling to the outside. Michelle went on offense but got distracted by Chuck, allowing Victoria to hit the Widow’s Peak.

WINNER: Victoria at 2:08.

After the match, Chuck came in the ring and got a microphone. Michelle backed away on the ground, but Chuck stepped on her arm, then hair to stop her. He said she better get used to this treatment.

[Commercial Break]

4- UNDERTAKER vs. BIG DADDY V

V pushed Taker around at the outset. Taker hammered at V in the corner in return. He then knocked Matt Striker off the apron, allowing V to attack from behind. V threw Taker out of the ring and chopped his chest. V laid on top of Taker back in the ring and punched his ribs. Running splash missed and Taker hit a clothesline, followed by Old School. Taker finished it with a DDT. Striker was attacked from behind after the match, chokeslammed, and put in Taker’s new submission finisher.

WINNER: Undertaker at 5:06. Daddy V does the job again; apparently, WWE thinks abnormally huge guys don’t need wins for credibility, that just being big should make people think they can win. I don’t know anyone who would pick V in the Chamber. I like the DDT finish; it was unexpected and gives more credibility to that move in the future.

[Commercial Break]

-A video on past Chamber matches aired.

-Cole & Coach plugged the No Way Out lineup.

-Kane came out for a tag team match, which is up next.

[Commercial Break]

5- KANE & CM PUNK vs. SHELTON BENJAMIN & CHAVO GUERRERO

Chavo vs. Punk was added for No Way Out. Kane lifted Chavo over his head and just dropped him. I wouldn’t mind seeing Punk vs. Shelton at WrestleMania. Back and forth action from these four. Chavo and Shelton used some double-teaming on Punk. Heel kick by Punk, who tagged Kane. He launched Chavo all over the ring. Flying clothesline by Kane, but a pin was broken up by Shelton. Punk made a blind tag and hit the GTS on Chavo for the win.

WINNERS: Kane & Punk at 4:52. That’s three times in a row Punk has pinned Chavo. Something tells me he’s not winning at the PPV.

[Commercial Break]

-The Raw Rebound aired.

[Commercial Break]

6- GREAT KHALI vs. FINLAY

Clips of the Hornswoggle McMahon saga aired prior to the match. Khali was on offense to start. To the outside, Khali whipped Finlay into the steps. Khali owned things back in the ring too. The nerve hold was put on, but Finlay got out of it. He was booted down for his efforts. Finlay came off the top but was caught by the throat and was two-handed chokeslammed. Hornswoggle came into the ring and hit Khali with the shillaleigh (which the ref didn’t see), but Khali shoved him down. The ref checked on Hornswoggle while Finlay wailed on Khali with the shillaleigh, then pinned him.

WINNER: Finlay at 4:57. The faces in the Chamber are 3-0 tonight.

-Teddy Long was wheeling Vickie Guerrero backstage. Back in the arena, the ring and surroundings were being set up for Edge’s big announcement.

[Commercial Break]

-Edge came out to four musicians playing some romantic dinner music on the stage. Flowers lined the ring and a red carpet with hearts cut out of it were over the mat. Edge said tonight, the “R” in “Rated R Superstar” stands for “really in love.” He asked Vickie to come out. Flower petals lined the entryway. Teddy brought Vickie out. Even Vickie’s wheelchair was decorated for the occasion. Edge first wanted to sing a passage from a Bryan Adams song. That drew a chorus of boos- either for Edge singing or it being a Bryan Adams song. Edge got down on one knee and asked Vickie to marry him. Vickie couldn’t answer yes soon enough. They made out as the musicians played. Rey Mysterio’s music interrupted them though. Rey said he wanted to personally congratulate the couple and said it’s the most disgusting thing he’s seen in his life. He said he hopes Vickie will drop the Guerrero name, because she’s disgracing it. Edge threatened Rey and ordered him to apologize for real. Rey got in the ring and said he’s through apologizing. Edge attacked, but Rey hit the 619. Rey’s seated senton missed Edge, as he ducked and Rey came down on Vickie. Rey seemed nonplussed as Edge checked on his new fiancée. They replayed the move from all angles. EMT’s worked on Vickie in the ring as the show went off the air.

WWE taped this week’s edition of SmackDown from the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizoona. This week’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi was broadcast live earlier tonight. The following dark match took place before ECW.

Show Notes:

According to one our correspondents, everyone was searched entering the building.

The event is said to be sold out.

Dark Match:

Vladimir Kozlov defeated a local guy billed from Tucson, Arizona via pinfall.

Off-Air ECW Notes:

After ECW went off the air ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero slapped CM Punk. Punk laid him out with a kick and rose up the ECW Championship to the roar of the crowd. Chavo finally got up and told the live crowd that he is “happy” he is receiving all of the love from the raza as the majority Mexican crowd is said to be booing him.

Pre-SmackDown:

Jonathan Coachman and Michael Cole come out to Coachman’s music. There is a lot of heat on Coachman.

WWE SmackDown (Air Date 2/29):

The show starts with no pyro, there are two local jobbers (referred to as nobodies) already in the ring. The Big Show’s music hits as he gets a pop from the crowd. A total squash match occurs with Big Show winning after hitting one of the local guys (referred to as a Hacksaw Jim Duggan lookalike) in the face.

After the squash match, Big Show gets on the mic and says that there is a rumor that Floyd Mayweather is going to face Oscar De La Hoya in September. He says that rumor is false because he is going to crush Mayweather at WrestleMania XXIV.

Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore defeated Deuce & Domino via pinfall.
Cherry came out with Deuce & Domino. Jimmy made the pin after a second moonsault from the top rope.

There is a backstage vignette with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge and Vickie Guerrero. They talk about leaving the United States and moving to Canada. They go to make out but Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins interrupt and say that Edge has to take care of Undertaker. Edge tells Zack that it is his job to do tonight to Zack’s disarray.

Chuck Palumbo defeated Jamie Noble via pinfall.
Michelle McCool accompanied Noble to the ring. The match was back and forth but Palumbo hit the Overdrive to collect the victory. Sporadic “Chuck” chants are heard amongst some in attendance.

Maryse is backstage with Vickie Guerrero. Batista walks in and asks her if he can represent SmackDown in the match for brand superiority at WrestleMania. After Maryse whispers something in her ear, Vickie says yes. Therefore it’s Umaga vs. Batista in a Raw vs. SmackDown match for WrestleMania.

Undertaker vs. Zack Ryder is announced for later in the night.

Batista & Kane defeated MVP & The Great Khali via pinfall.
Lots of tag team action between the four competitors. At one point Batista gives a pretty stiff beating to MVP. MVP finally is able to get the tag and eventually The Great Khali gets the best of Batista. Once Khali re-establishes control, he tags back in MVP. Batista is finally able to tag Kane in but Khali & MVP are said to be dominating. The action continues to go back and forth but it ends up being between The Great Khali and Batista. Batista hit the spear and was able to get the victory.

Eve Torres comes to the ring and hypes the upcoming WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. They run the Peter Maivia/Rocky Johnson piece that ran on Raw.

Jesse & Festus defeat The Miz & John Morrison via pinfall.
Before the match The Miz and Morrison showed the dirt sheet making fun of Jesse and Festus. This is a non-title match. Festus is able to hit his finisher on Morrison with The Miz on the outside. Festus is able to pin Morrison. After the match, Miz and Morrison argue in the ring.

Big Daddy V defeats Ball Mahoney in a squash match.
Matt Striker came to the ring with Big Daddy V for the squash.

After the match, The Undertaker comes out and takes out Big Daddy V. He chokeslams Balls. He then calls out World Heavyweight Champion Edge and tells him to bring out his minion to his yard and that they’ll both rest in peace. One of our correspondent notes that they may make it appear as if Undertaker came out of nowhere because Undertaker walked down the ramp with smoke and flames going.

The Undertaker defeats Zack Ryder via submission.
The match starts with The Undertaker completely dominating the match. He goes for a chokeslam on Ryder but Curt Hawkins (who came out with Ryder) distracts the referee. Ryder hits a low blow on Undertaker. The blow is not enough as Undertaker is able to regain control and win the match by making Ryder tap, presumably in the triangle choke. Edge hits the ring with Ryder and Hawkins as they try to beat on Undertaker. Undertaker takes care of Ryder and Hawkins with two chokeslams and a double triangle choke, Edge retreats to the outside. Kane and Batista come out and throw Edge back into the ring to Undertaker. Undertaker takes out Edge and holds the World Heavyweight Championship above his head as the show goes off the air. One of our correspondents noted that Hawkins was busted open and Undertaker apparently licked his blood.

After SmackDown Goes Off The Air:

Edge backs up on the outside as Batista’s music hits. Kane’s music follows. Edge is frozen in fear and selling his “injuries.” They back him into the ring, he tries to escape but they put him back in. Kane hits a chokeslam, Batista a Spear, and Undertaker a Tombstone.

Kane and The Undertaker exit ringside with their brothers of destruction handshake. Batista goes all around the arena shaking hands with fans on his way out.

Edge, finally gets up in the ring and says that Undertaker won’t have Kane and Batista at WrestleMania. Tony Chimmel announces Edge as the World Heavyweight Champion and tells everyone goodnight. Edge’s music plays.

WWE taped this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. They taped ECW on Sci-Fi earlier in the night. Below are pre-show notes and match results from this week's tapings. I apologize for the lack of detail as we were not given a lot of information but at least we have results.

Pre-Show Notes:

- They are having an ice storm in Cleveland right now, so it might be causing some transportation problems. Our correspondent arrived several minutes late.

Dark Match:

Kofi Kingston def. Kevin Thorn

Backstage segment with Jamie Noble. He says that he wants to face Chuck Palumbo, however, Palumbo is set to go against Kane tonight. Noble will face Big Show.

It was confirmed that television personality Kim Kardashian will be a guest at WrestleMania XXIV.

A WWE Diva swimsuit competition is next. Featured are Eve Torres, Maryse, Victoria, Michelle McCool, and Cherry. It is announced that one diva will be voted off each week as fans will be able to vote through text messages. During the segment, Victoria fell off the middle turnbuckle.

Kane def. Chuck Palumbo
I was told it was pretty much a squash with Palumbo walking right into Kane's chokeslam. Kane got the pinfall for the victory.

Big Show def. Jamie Noble
Noble got himself disqualified by hitting a low blow on Big Show. Big Show retaliated with a severe beat down that resulted on Noble being busted open. He gets on the mic and taunts Floyd Mayweather.

World Heavyweight Champion Edge, Zack Ryder, & Curt Hawkins defeat The Undertaker.
The only information that I got from the match was that Ryder, Hawkins, and Edge won the bought after Edge hit a Spear. It was given a significant amount of time.
This week's edition of WWE SmackDown was taped at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Dark Match:

Shelton Benjamin d. Chris Harris
Chris Harris made his WWE debut in a dark match against Benjamin. Benjamin hit his code breaker type maneuver to score the pinfall victory. There were some TNA chants in the crowd.

Pre-Show Note:

- We are told that they accidentally turned the ring over while changing out the ECW stuff for SmackDown's setup. Tony Chimel and referees were said to be responsible. I was told it was hilarious.

- There are two rows of tires in the center of the ring.

- We are told that there is something that looks like potato sacks at ringside. Jonathan Coachman and Michael Cole are now at their positions ringside.

WWE SmackDown (Air date 3/14):

The show opens with the Divas Swimsuit competition. Eve Torres, Cherry, Maryse, Victoria, and Michelle McCool are all featured. Maryse is voted off by the fans through their text messages.

Michelle McCool wins an obstacle course with the remaining WWE divas. The obstacle course was said to be extremely dumb as the divas had to run through the tires in the ring, complete a potato sack race, and jump a small wall.

A Ric Flair/Shawn Michaels promo is up next.

WWE shows a promo for tonight's match between Batista and MVP for the U.S. Championship in a no holds barred match.

(3) United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter d. Batisa in a No Holds Barred match to retain the title. This match was given significant amount of time. There was a lot of chairs used throughout. MVP was able to get the pin after Umaga came out and hit Batista with a Samoan Spike.

(4) Chuck Palumbo & The Great Khali d. Kane & Jamie Noble
Khali pinned Noble after a chokeslam to get the win for him and Palumbo.

Vickie Guerrero comes out and says that ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero will join Edge, Ryder, and Hawkins and the match will be 4-on-2. Michaels got caught in the rope for several minutes as all six men are in the cage. Flair is busted open early in the match. Michaels and Flair both locked Figure Four leglocks on Edge and CM Punk at the same time, which I was told was a very cool spot. Eventually the lights went out and the Undertaker appeared. He cleans up but Edge is able to escape for the win. Undertaker points up to the WrestleMania sign.

Vickie Guerrero re-appears and says now it's Big Show vs. Undertaker. This could be a dark match forthcoming.

(6) Undertaker d. World Heavyweight Champion Edge. It started as Big Show vs. Undertaker. Big Show was dominating early but left the ring when Edge came out and instructed Big Show to leave. Undertaker ended up hitting a Tombstone on Edge to get the victory.

After the match, Edge hits the ring along with Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Undertaker attempts a chokeslam on one of the Edgeheads but Edge hits the Spear. All three beat Undertaker up in the ring with chairs.

The following will probably not be shown on television:

Batista comes out to make the save. Undertaker and Batista re-gain control as Undertaker gives Edge a Tombstone.
i missed this episode, what was up with the briefcase? What was in it?

DJ Vindictive Wrote:

Probably just symbolized the Money In The Bank match.

- HBK is out to the ring. Batista comes out to interrupt him. Batista is angry with HBK, and calls him egotistical. HBK tries to smooth it over, but Batista makes HBK feel guilty for beating Flair and says he should have laid down for Flair. Batista tosses down the mic and leaves. HBK gives his mic to the ring guy, is sad and leaves.

- Vladimir Kozlov defeated Matt Bentley in a very quick match.

- Non-Title Match: The Mic and John Morrison © defeated Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang

- After the match the Great Khali came out and beat down all four men. He grabbed the mic and started to talk about the Big Show, who then came to the ring. They stared down and Khali left like on Raw.

- Kane and The undertaker went to a double count out as they did the double big boot spot and couldn't answer the 10-count.

- The first 10+ Minutes was a "grappling bout," as they wrestled, hit no signature moves and just worked basic wrestling. After the double KO boot spot, they both did the sit up. Edge, Chavo and the Rated Rmy hit the ring and beat them down. Kane and Taker then did the double sit up again, chokeslam on Edge, one for Chavo and then double tombstones to close the show.
Kane + Taker! Tagging up again??? I know...wishful thinking.

Vladimir Kozlov defeated Matt Logan. This will never make TV, but Kozlov botched his introduction twice, first by heading out before they were filming and then walking backstage as the lights were on. Absolutely hysterical live.

MVP comes out to do commentary for Matt Hardy vs. Chuck Palumbo. Hardy wins via the twist of fate. Matt then yells at MVP, who leaves the ring area.

Interview with Jesse. He says he's never seen Festus like that before.

They did several vignettes with Edge and Vickie Guerrero to give the impression they were having sex.

Undertaker defeated Festus via gogoplata. Ref bump that led to nothing, new ref came down to call for the bell.

After SmackDown: Edgeheads and Chavo Guerrero beat down the Undertaker. Batista comes for the the save. Edge comes out. Then Kane. Massive brawling. Big Show out next. Faces beat down the heels.

The Undertaker comes out. Vickie Guerrero comes out and says that the following match will not be for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. She also says that Undertaker's new choke hold (the Gogoplata that they have not named) is banned.

According to both of our correspondents, Vickie Guerrero strips The Undertaker of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship because of his dangerous choke hold. She says that it is to protect the superstars.

The Great Khali came to the ring and tried to take the World Heavyweight Championship. Undertaker attacked him. Undertaker ends up locking the Gogoplata on Khali. While he is choking him out, Ryder and Hawkins come out and take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt. Khali ends up bleeding. Undertaker went after Ryder and Hawkins and ended up getting back in the ring and chokeslamming Khali to end the show.

Off-Air:

Vickie (with Edge), Hawkins, and Ryder leave with the belt.
see, i told you its not the triangle choke =P

Maybe its just me but i think TNA is officially better than Smackdown and ECW. These young guys they've been bringing in (aside from kofi, he's the man) after Kennedy, Carlito, MVP etc really suck. Guys like Kozlov and Rhodes. I mean i guess the quality of wrestling is alright but their gimmicks suck. I always switch channels to a VH1 reality show during their matches. I dunno maybe im just being picky?
Rhodes had a funny segment two weeks ago when he asked Santino how to say "If you say one more thing I'm going to hit you in the head with this microphone."

Then Santino says something and he goes "I thought so." and then cracks him in the dome.
lol. I saw the match but was bored so i switched and missed it. Didn't know cody could talk. I think the WWE needs to push these next breeds a bit more. MVP is getting his air time, but i think guys like Carlito, Kennedy and Benjamin (although his mic skillz suck so not so much him) should get more attention and kinda groom them for the future. I mean HBK/Taker/JBL are past 40 and guys like Y2J/HHH/Batista (he's kinda new still tho)/etc are almost there. They should gradually transfer the attention to the new breed. Although, Orton and Edge seem to already have had it and CM Punk is getting there.
